Wow... 2011 is now history and we're now planning for our 2012 groups and mission teams that will come and work in our part of the Appalachian country!

God proved that this is truly "His" ministry as 2011 went on as planned OR according to God's plan. We don't understand why things happen as they do but we do know that God has a plan and a purpose for our lives and for United For Jesus Ministry.

Harold and Joyce are looking forward to their  fifth year and sixth summer as Directors of United for Jesus Ministry. They will celebrate their fifth year in May. It has been five wonderful years with many ups and downs, but God has proved His faithfulness in every situation. Through sickness and in health God is Good!!! God has met each need according to His riches in glory!

If you would like to be a part of our ministry this spring, summer or fall, please call 606-589-6444 for more information.

We are so thankful for all the groups who came and blessed our community in 2011.  All of these groups have made a lasting impression on our community and we are so thankful for each person who came and served!

We have some returning groups this year but we also have some new mission teams coming in 2012.

Once again our local Winter Youth Retreat will be kicking our season off the last weekend in February. We always look forward to the Rushing Wind team led by Freddie Terry and Ernie Scott and their wives.

We were blessed to have a group of men from Flat Rock Baptist Church in Liberty, SC to come and refloor a much needed hallway. This is in answer to our prayers. We needed this done before groups started coming in again. Thanks so much to Brad, Jay, Jason & Scott!

Even in the valley God is good!

Time and time again we see prayers answered not only in our lives and the ministry but also in other peoples lives as well. We don't always understand God's ways and His purposes for our lives but we must accept them.

The way we deal with a situation matters more than you realize. You never know who may be watching your life and the way you handle the circumstances you're faced with.

Just remember God is always there, no matter if you're on the mountain top or down in the valley. He will never leave you or forsake you!!
